Topic: Two Topics. Two Presenters. One Evening of Learning.

You have some incredibly interesting information to learn this month.

First, Attorney Bill Dolan will review a recent court case that matters to all of us. If you are like many of us, “as-is” means as-is, and “unknown” means unknown. So, we go about our business thinking we’re smart and have it covered. Until the paradigm shifts, and we need to redefine what that means. Bill Dolan is going to explain what you need to know about buying or selling under “as-is” conditions and using “unknown” in your disclosure responses. This court case decision affects all of us.

Second, our Note Investing Coach, Phil Drew, is going to lead a conversation about the new tax laws and some of the ways they impact you and I as real estate investors. Phil will address: changes in depreciable properties, net operating losses, deductions, UBIT, trade or business, and more.
