Can anyone give me a rough idea of what it costs to upgrade electric service from 60 to 200 Amp?  Also looking for a reputable electrician (in Wilmington) to do the work.

Hi Paul.

Upgrading to a 200 amp is around $1,400-$1,700.  That should include a new service cable as well.  You can call my guy Ron Seeny 494-3686.  He does Wilmington work for us.  Tell him Mike Ferris gave you his name and number.

Electrician licensed to work in Wilmington.  He works on our rehabs and has always been reliable and affordable.  In over 6 years of using him we have had zero problems.  He always shows up when he says he'll be there and gets the job done on time and a reasonable rate.  You won't be disappointed with Mike.  It's a small one or two person company so you'll deal with the owner.

Tell him Jason from East Coast Properties referred him.
